This short film investigates the properties of stairs and imagines how they might play a greater role in the physical world and in storytelling. The inherent characteristics of stairs are explored – form, function, directionality, scale – and then new possibilities are envisioned, with movement, rotation, growth, and intersection coming into play. As a result, strange new typologies are born.
